a nebraska spring = snow & record-setting low temps one week, with sunshine & record-setting high temps the next. never a dull moment.
so, random bits of spring, en foto.
^ em came for a visit! we mainly failed at taking pictures... except for this little gem. lincoln has some pretty special public artwork.
^ and of course we toured the capitol... what else do you do in the capital city?
^ on dan's and my drive to north dakota for our sister-in-law's graduation... fantastic sunset.
^ spring finally made itself known on our porch tree...the buds survived the multiple freezing nights!
^ bbq at the lake + windy day + friends = batman kites!
^ no pictures of the boys because they were too busy fishing... but anna, rachel, kate, elizabeth & i made time :)
^ headed downtown for the haymarket farmer's market. lincoln used to have so much industry, based on how many legit buildings there still are.
^ okay, really, if you're trying to use this fire escape... you have to climb that high up before you can go down??
^ pioneers park. perfect.
^ taken from the old treasury building in dc. perfect for picnics!
^ got pink?
^ i think if this bird had a voice, he would be telling me to go away in a very curmudgeonly tone.
^ wouldn't it be hard to not get your beak stuck in everything?
^ sunken gardens... SO many tulips!
^ evangel? :)
^ cav ball 2013... fix those buttons, sir.
^ oh, those stetsons :)
^ my corsage, which thankfully this year wasn't five times bigger than my wrist :)
^ we left early and went out for dessert + coffee... more fun than army stuff :)
the end, for now (:
