more fallishness.

let's try this again... i posted this last week, then made some edits, and blogger decided to erase it. maybe it'll work this time :)

october has been a busy one... (when are we not busy?) but we've found a little time to explore more fall colors, go to missouri for evangel's homecoming, hang out with some of our springfield faves, and carve up pumpkins & drink wassail with some of our lincoln faves. i'd say that's a pretty good month.

^ can you spot the tiny frog?

^ who knew maranatha village has such pretty little spots?

^ you can run, but you can't hide.

^ proof that we not only saw, but spent time with some friends in springfield... finally remembered my camera, for a change :)
love sandi & kari!

^ rachel & michael

^ max & dan... they liked this picture. hence... here they are. [ boys. ]

^ blurry us :)

^ my one and only picture WITH someone at the evangel game... gotta work on that!
one of my favorite elisabeths :)

^ crusader guy enjoyed the game. [ we won! ]

^ my [ former ] suitie directed the marching band. woot woot sarah!

^ made this strawberry deliciousness at grandpa & grandma's... i had never made a lattice top before, so dan had to show me. he's a better housewife than me...

^ love a good roadtrip during fall.

^ came home to a little bit of color... only to have it all dashed off by 40+ mph winds by the time i got home from work. oh fall. oh nebraska.

^ and then came the fog.

^ but thankfully it went away for a while... long enough for me to foto-stalk dan while he went for a run. after all, if i go running too, i can't take my camera and i'll miss all the fall color! or something like that...

^ kayak!

^ quack.

^ *bam* yellow explosion.

^ last year about this time...

^ ...this year. i think the little tree had some trouble during our dry summer... poor fella.

^ pumpkin time!

^ in action.

^ anna's house.

^ so vicious!

^ nom nom.

^ finished products!

^ our productions.
(here are your grandkids for the season, mom & dad. you're welcome.)
^ all lit up.

happy next-to-last day of october :)

p.s. i'm dressing up for halloween as a cube-dwelling, office-going, coffee-drinking, interview-scheduling, high heel-wearing woman. oh, wait, i do that every day...
