aside from a busy labor day weekend of kayaking, napping in the hammock, cooking deliciousness, eating ice cream cones, finishing good books, watching funny movies, and napping some more, we found time for a day at the nebraska state fair in grand island. i expected more rodeo-ing and horse stampeding, but alas... it was a wee more tame than that. but lots of fun nevertheless :)
